Tollef Currell
Tollef is an actor, singer, and artist based in the Twin Cities. He holds a BA with a theatre major and art minor from Luther College. Tollef finds beauty in theatre’s collaborative nature. He believes that art and people make life worth living, and theatre is the ultimate expression of this.
Artist Statement
I create theatre to express the complexity of human experience. Theatre analyzes the human condition by asking: why are we like this? Every great play contains a small part of that answer through the words of well-written characters brought to life in truthful performance. Theatre compels us to consider how the unique experience of every person moulds who they are, endowing us with empathy for others. Theatre reminds us that we, too, are complicated, and there are no simple answers.
